Fields

Description

Transport Stream Bitrate

When enabled, specify the Transport Stream Bitrate (in Mbps). When disabled, the bitrate is ignored.

Standard Type

Select the desired standard. Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) or Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC).

Audio Loudness

Select the desired audio loudness measurement standard. EBU R 128 or ATSC A/85 (no gating).

SDT Name

Service Description Table (SDT) name. Leaving this field empty will disable the test.

Provider Name

SDT provider name; leaving this field empty will disable the test.

NIT Carrier ID Information

Network Interface Table (NIT) details are optional and relevant only for satellites.



Encoder Manufacturer

Name of the Encoder Manufacturer.

Encoder Serial Number

The electronic serial number of the Encoder.

Carrier Identifier

Name of the Carrier Company.

Telephone Number

Operator's telephone number (typically – operator's MCR/POC number, etc.).

Longitude

Longitude value.

Latitude

Latitude value.

User Information

Service information, other user fields, etc.

FieldsDescription

Profile Name

Identification name for cross-system notifications; if the activated profile is not the default one, the profile's name will be displayed next to the channel's name on the mosaic.

Default

Set the profile as default. Only one profile can be set to default; setting a profile as default overrides previous settings.

Thresholds Set

Channel monitoring thresholds set. To reconfigure, please refer to Thresholds.

Notifications Set

Channel monitoring notifications set. To reconfigure, please refer to Notifications.

Service Bitrate

The total service bitrate of all PIDs, including the PMT itself.

Use the toggle switch to specify minimum and maximum values allowed or choose Auto for automatic selection. The values set are used for the service bitrate detection rules.

Pixelization Block Size

Select the pixelization masking level from the dropdown (mostly used to mask adult content over the mosaic channel).

Title Color

Select the font color of the channel box title in the mosaic.

Border Color

Select the border color of the channel box in the mosaic. Change of border color due to error notification will override this setting.

RST Running State

The RST allows accurate and rapid updating of the timing status of one or more events; this may be necessary when an event starts early or late due to scheduling changes. Select the desired RST Running State from the dropdown.

IconsDescription

To add a new PID, click on the add icon. Click on Submit to save the PID configuration.

Click on the Type dropdown list to choose the desired PID or Component Types.

*The fields in the GUI are specific to the PID/Component type chosen. Please refer to Component Types for more details.

To delete an existing PID, click on the delete icon.

Configuration Fields


FieldsDescription

PID

PID number.

Transport Monitored

When checked, TS level is included despite PID being monitored or not.

Content Monitored

Whether the PID's content is monitored or not. When unchecked, all content-related rules will be disabled for the PID (e.g., audio silence, freeze frame, PES drop, etc.).

PID out of PMT

Whether the PID should be part of the PMT, this is used to configure the ECM/EMM PIDs as part of the service and monitor their existence and bitrate.

Scrambled

Desired scrambling state of the PID, check the box if the PID is scrambled.

PCR on PID

Specifies if the PCR is present on the PID.

Bitrate

Desired bitrate for the PID (either single CBR value or dual VBR value).

Use the toggle switch to specify the minimum, and maximum values allowed or choose 'I' to ignore selection.

Type

PID payload type. Based on the selection, additional configurable fields will be displayed.

Video



In addition to the fields listed in Configuration Fields, the below fields are configurable for Video.

Codec Type

Select the Codec type from the dropdown for video streaming.

For non-constant content, select Don't care.

Resolution

Specify the video resolution.

Format : [width]x[height][i/p]. For example, 720x576i, 1280x720p. Leaving this field empty will disable related error notifications.

Aspect Ratio

Select the aspect ratio for the video content from the dropdown.

For non-constant content, select Don't care.

Profile/Level

Select the profile level for the video content from the dropdown. Encoding profile and level, as reported from the stream.

Color Space

Select the color space for the video content from the dropdown.

Frame Rate

Specify the video frame rate (frames per second). Leaving this field empty will disable related error notifications.

Closed Captions

Select the closed caption type from the dropdown. Choose Hide if you don't want to show the CC.

Audio



In addition to the fields listed in Configuration Fields, the below fields are configurable for Audio.

DailNorm

Dialnorm is the metadata parameter that controls playback gain within the Dolby Laboratories Dolby Digital (AC-3) audio compression system. Dialnorm stands for dialog normalization. Dialnorm is an integer value with a range of 1 to 31 corresponding to a playback gain of -30 to 0 dB (unity), respectively.

The Scheduler enables the user to schedule event occurrences for one or more profiles created in the Profiles section. It also prohibits triggering false alerts for channels that are scheduled to be transmitted only on specific days and times.

*Please note that if there is an overlap in the events scheduled, higher priority events override the lower ones. Once the event ends, the source monitoring follows the default profile.

The Scheduler GUI displays the calendar events in Month format by default. Please click on the icons present at the top right corner to view the calendar event in Week or Day format.

Profile

Choose the desired profile created in the Profile section.

Title

Specify a unique event name for notification purposes (optional).

Priority

Event priority ranging from 0-1,000; the lower the number, the higher the priority. In the case of multiple profiles scheduled simultaneously, the higher priority profile will take precedence. Each event must be assigned with a unique priority.

Start

Starting time and date of the event (UTC).

End

Ending time and date of the event (UTC).

Repeat until

A recurring event that occurs until the specified date and time. This time should be later than the event's End Time.

Repeat on

Days when the event has to repeat.
