The current implementation of Nielsen Monitoring is based on SDK for Nielsen version 1.4. All 48Khz and 24Khz audio sources are monitored for the Nielsen (TS, OTT, NDI, 2110, 2022-6, CDI). The library produces results every 60 seconds. Light-monitored channels and SD sources are monitored in a longer interval or 3 minutes (i.e., monitored for one minute and not for the next 2 minutes).
Please note, Nielsen requires an additional license, please contact TAG support if you require a Nielsen License.
MCM9000 supports Nielsen Monitoring from version 6.2 onwards. Please follow the steps below to configure the same.
Navigate to System → System Information → System Settings. In the Nielsen Monitoring License field, provide the hash for enabling Nielsen watermarking and click on submit.
Please note the Nielsen requires additonal license, please contact TAG support if you require a Nielsen License.
Go to System → System Information → Device Controls and do a Soft Resetto enable Nielsen watermarking contents.
Once the soft reset is done, the Nielsen related events are available under Thresholds. Please refer to Nielsen for details about Nielsen events.
