External IRD devices are used in control room monitoring applications. They can be configured to provide a specific single channel at the output of the IRD. It has the below icons and fields.
| Icons | Description |
| To add a new IRD Device, click on the add icon. Fill in the appropriate fields. Click on submit for the IRD Device to be created. |
| To copy an existing IRD Device, click on the copy icon. |
| To edit the details of an existing IRD Device, select the desired IRD Device, and click on the edit icon. Click on submit to save the edited configuration. |
| To delete an existing IRD Device, select the desired IRD Device and click on the delete icon. Click on remove to delete the IRD Device permanently. |
| To refresh the IRD Device GUI, click on the refresh icon. |
| Fields | Description |
Name | Name of the External IRD Device. |
Type | Type of the IRD Device. |
IP Address | IRD Device IP address. |
Port | IRD Device port. |
Network | Select the network interface to connect with the IRD server. Auto for automatic selection. |
Read Community | The read-only community string enables a device to extract read-only data from another device. |
Write Community | The read-write community string is used to extract data and alter device configurations. |
Input Port | IRD Device Input port. |
Output Port | IRD Device Output port. |
Note: If the Port and Community fields are empty, default values will be used for the selected model. Anchor
