Notifications → FTP Servers
FTP Server should be configured for use with any File Agent as storage for recording events. It has the below icons and fields.
Version 6.0 onwards MCM9000 supports S3 and HTTP Storage Servers besides FTP Servers.

Icons | Description |
To add a new FTP Storage Server, click on the add icon. Fill in the appropriate fields. Click on submit for the FTP Storage Server to be created. | |
To copy an existing FTP Storage Server, click on the copy icon. | |
To edit the details of an existing FTP Storage Server, select the desired FTP Storage Server, and click on the edit icon. Click on submit to save the edited configuration. | |
To delete an existing FTP Storage Server, select the desired FTP Storage Server and click on the delete icon. Click on remove to delete the FTP Storage Server permanently. | |
To refresh the FTP Storage Server GUI, click on the refresh icon. |

Fields | Description |
Name | Server name to use in the file agent. |
Storage Type | Select the stroage type from drop down (FTP) |
Host | Server IP. |
Port | FTP server's port number. |
Network | Select the network interface to connect with the FTP server. Auto for automatic selection. |
Username | FTP username, as defined on the server. |
Password | FTP password, as defined on the server. |
Path | Specifies the folder's path for storing the recorded files on the server (similar to the user's home folder). |
Storage Limit | Specifies the folder's size limit (in MB). If the maximum size limit is attained, recordings will not be executed until the files are deleted manually. *Failed recordings will NOT restart after recovering space. |
Session Bandwidth Limit | File transfer bandwidth limit (in Kbps). |
S3
S3 Storage Server is related to amazon storage buckets.
Fields | Description |
Name | Server name to use in the file agent. |
Storage Type | Select the stroage type from drop down (S3). |
Host | Bucket URL. For example, test.s3.ap-southeast2.amazonaws.com |
Port | Server port. |
Network | Select the network interface to connect with the S3 server. Auto for automatic selection. |
Key | Key, as defined on the server. |
Secret | Secret, as defined on the server. |
Path | Specifies the folder's path for storing the recorded files on the server (similar to the user's home folder). |
Max Chunk Size | Maximum chunk size defined on the server (in bytes). ** Max file (Chunk) size is set up to 128 MB (134217722). |
Session Bandwidth Limit | File transfer bandwidth limit (in Kbps). |
HTTP
Fields | Description |
Name | Server name to use in the file agent. |
Storage Type | Select the stroage type from drop down (HTTP). |
Host | Server URL. |
Port | Server port. |
Network | Select the network interface to connect with the HTTP server. Auto for automatic selection. |
Path | Specifies the folder's path for storing the recorded files on the server (similar to the user's home folder). |
Max Chunk Size | Maximum chunk size defined on the server (in bytes). |
Session Bandwidth Limit | File transfer bandwidth limit (in Kbps). |
