Audio statistics are available for all the monitored audio PID's, based on the BS-1770 standard.

The Audio statistics GUI has the below fields.


FieldsDescription

Name

Display name of the channel source.

Device

Monitoring device name.

PID

PID of the channel source.

Codec

Codec Type.

Audio Codec Types: MPEG, AC3, E-AC3, DTS, ADTS/AAC, ADTS/HE-AAC, LATM/AAC, LATM/HE-AAC, ATMOS.

Video Codec Types: H.264, MPEG2, MPEG1, JPEG2000, H.265, SMPTE-2022-6, SMPTE-2110-20.

Language

Language of the PID type (Relevant for Audio, Subtitles, Teletext, AES3, ID3 Metadata).

Bitrate

PID bitrate. (either single CBR value or dual VBR value).

Short Term Loudness

Short Term Loudness measures the loudness of the past 3 Seconds (in LUFS) based on the EBU R128 standard.

Momentary Loudness

Momentary Loudness measures the loudness of the past 400 Milliseconds (in LUFS) based on the EBU R128 standard.

Current True Peak

Specifies the Current True Peak based on the EBU R128 standard.

Current Dialnorm

Specifies the current Dialnorm based on the EBU R128 standard.

Hourly LRA

Specifies the Hourly LRA based on the EBU R128 standard.

Hourly True Peak

Specifies the Hourly True Peak based on the EBU R128 standard.

Hourly Integrated

Specifies the Hourly Integrated based on the EBU R128 standard.

Daily LRA

Specifies the Daily LRA based on the EBU R128 standard.

Daily Integrated

Specifies the Daily Integrated based on the EBU R128 standard.

Listen

To listen to an audio PID, click on Play and select an output stream and click on Set. To reset, click on Close.

The PID's audio will be transmitted along with the relevant mosaic output stream.


To refresh the Audio statistics GUI, click on the refresh icon at the top right corner.
