The Threshold Sets GUI consists of 22 Tabs. Each tab is made of tables indicating several events. A detailed description of these events is explained in the Event Code. Each table in the Threshold Sets is made of the below parameters.

ParametersDescription

ID

It is a unique value given for different events in the Threshold Sets.

Name

Name of the events.

Standard

It is the appropriate international standard for the event.

Threshold

Triggers an alarm to notify the user when an event does not occur at the specified threshold range. The threshold units can be CC/sec, ms, min, etc., depending on the event.

Severity

The alarms are classified based on the severity as Critical, Major, Minor, Warning, Notice, Info. Abnormalities in the Event could cause:

  1. Operational effects on the system that could be Critical or Major.
  2. Minor or no operational effects on the system.
  3. No operational effects on the system but triggers a Warning to the operator.
  4. No operational effects on the system but provide a Notice or Information to the operator.
For a selected event, the severity could be set to Disabled if triggering an alarm is not essential.

Record

All events can trigger a short recording clip of the channel input stream at the time it occurred, which can be used for investigating the cause in the event history. To activate a trigger, click the check icon () in the Record column to select the toggle buttons .

Default

As mentioned in the previous section, a new set is created to replicate the default set.

For a specific event, the Threshold and Severity could be edited, and the Recording option could be checked () or unchecked () from toggle buttons in the new set. By doing this, the default option is automatically unchecked () from the toggle buttons , this means the event is no longer in a default state.

Alternatively, by checking (), the default option from the toggle buttons for a specified event reinstates its values to the Default set.

Please note editing the Threshold, Severity, and Recording in the Default set does not track if the edited value is default or not.

Once the configurations are done, click the submit changes button to save the changes. If not, the changes will not be saved.

As all threshold sets are based on the default one, any change to the default set will be applied to all configured sets, excluding errors configured to override the default.
