Groups

MCS from version 1.3.0

Table of Contents

Overview

Groups Configuration displays the configured groups within the system. It provides a table view of group details and their associated attributes, with options to perform actions like adding, editing, or deleting groups. This enables us to break the system into smaller segments and allocate specific parts to different users. The meaning and functionality of a group vary depending on its type: Access, Resource, neither or both.

The Group Types: Access vs. Resource vs. Neither vs. Both

  • You can find more information about Access Groups here.

  • You can find more information about Resource Groups here.

  • More information about hashtags - groups without a type (neither Access nor Resource), can be found here.

  • The both group type combines the options of both group types.
