Notification Set
Notifications → Notifications Sets
Notification Sets define how to report the events. It allows the user to monitor different channels uniquely through the Notification Agents (For example, the same event on different channels can be alerted differently; in one channel via email, while in the other channel through an audio alarm). To create a Notification Set:
- Configure the Threshold Sets with appropriate Severity (Critical, Major, Minor, Warning, Notice, Info) that requires alerts.
- Configure Notification Agents to define how to alert different events.
- Now, create the desired Notification Sets.
All the Notification Sets are available on the right-side panel of the Notification Sets GUI. It also has a search bar to search the desired Notification Sets. Please configure the Notification Agents before creating a Notification Set.
The below icons are present on the top right corner of the Notification Sets GUI.

Based on the Severity (Critical, Major, Minor, Warning, Notice, Info, and Keep Alive), the Notification Set for each Notification Agent can be configured. For example, for Severity Critical, select the desired Notification Agents (Display color, SNMP, Email, Syslog, File, Error Display, Audio Alarm) from the drop-down menu and click on the save icon to save the configuration. For each Severity, up to 3 Notification Agents can be added.
Setting a unique notification set per channel may be configured on each channel's profile described in the Profile Configuration section.
