MCM9000 Software Upgrades and Rollback


The MCM9000 is a state-of-the-art software solution and is constantly being developed and improved.

You will be notified of any software upgrade related to your operation and the new software upgrade file will be shared with your TAG support account.

Upgrading the software:

1. Download the file from TagVS Storage Center.

2. MCM9000; System → Software management → Upload Software File

  • Browse for the previously downloaded file and upload the *.rar file (without extracting the file) 
  • Select "Submit "

3. When the upload is completed, refresh the browser page.

4. Set the next boot with the new software file; System → Software management

  • Boot Image Selection
  • Change the next Boot Image to the new file version
  • Submit

5. Rollback – The MCM9000 holds 2 software versions at all times.

In case the MCM9000 has an upgrade failure or a critical bug in the current version, there is always the option of rolling back to the previous version.

In order to rollback, simply follow again the steps as described in previous step #4 (above) and change the next Boot Image to be the previous file version → Submit, continue to steps 6,7,8.



     6. Save configuration

     7. Reboot the System; System → Device Control → Reboot


     


8. Verify the version on the main page or; System → Device Information → Version
