How to change the audio alarm

To change the audio alarm on the output, please follow the steps below.

  1. Upload the audio alarm using one of the below options.

    1. CLI

      1. Navigate to the folder that contains the file you need to upload.

      2. Type:  "ftp <ipaddress>"

      3. Input Username: icons and Password: tagvs

      4. Type "put alarm.mp3"

    2. FTP Client (using Filezilla)
      Open the Filezilla application and log in to the FTP server using the credentials described in option 1.

      ** Make sure the file’s duration is at least a few seconds (3-5) and that it is a regular MP3 file with a 48Khz mono/stereo 128KBPS sample rate.

  2. Go to the MCM9000 GUI and restart the encoder.

     

  3. The new audio alarm is available on the TS and SRT output stream (multicast).

  4. To verify the audio alarm play the stream on VLC choosing the audio track.
