Configure Output Encoder on MCS
Follow the steps below to select a layout to view your channels on MCS.
Navigate to Output → Templates.
You can create your own template here or use the default template. To create a customized template, click on the add icon and fill in the Template Settings and click on save.
In the new template my_Layout, choose the desired tiles from the left side pane and drag and drop into the center space as shown below and click on save.
Now the template is available to use it in the Layouts to assign channel.
2. Navigate to Output → Layouts.
Click on add icon to add a new Layout my_channel_Layout choose the Layout template created in step 1 and click on save.
Drag and drop the channels on the right side pane into the Mosaic as shown below and click on save.
**You can configure Tile Attributes such as UMD’s, Tally Sources, Border Tally as shown below. Please refer to Dynamic UMD Updating supported UMD’s and How to configure Tally and Timers for Tally settings.
3. The next step is to generate an encoder in order to view your newly created Mosaic.
Navigate to Output → Configuration.
To create an encoder (Enc1), click on the add icon and fill in the Encoder Settings and click on save.
Double click on the encoder (Enc1). Under the Layout tab select the Layout created in step 2 and click on save.
4. In the Outputs Configuration page choose a MCM9000 device to start the encoder.
Encoder is started.
