NTP Configuration and Status
This section describes NTP Configuration and NTP Status.
NTP Config
NTP servers can be configured for time synchronization of the system.
You can add, delete, and copy NTP server. Click on add icon to add an NTP server. Fill in the details and click on the save icon.
Fields | Description |
Name | Name of the NTP configuration. |
IP Address | Specify the IP address for the NTP server. |
Network | The default network is Auto. |
Groups | You can add NTP server to resource groups defined under devices. |
NTP Status
NTP Status provides the status across the MCM9000 devices configured with the MCS.
Fields | Description |
Label | NTP name. |
Device | MCM9000 device configured. |
Offset (sec) | Clock offset refers to the difference in time between external timing and time on a local machine. The lesser the offset, the more accurate is the lock of the local machine to the clock source. |
Drift (ppm) | Clock Drift shows the drift between the system and the NTP/PTP clocks (in ppm). |
Age (sec) | Age is the time last synced. It is presented in seconds. The NTP/PTP module keeps time synced in case of small offsets. In case of a large offset (a few seconds), the Clock should be synced manually. |
Status | Status from each MCM9000 device configured. |
The refresh rate button on the top right allows you to choose the refresh rate for specified time (in seconds) or disable it.
