In this section, you can configure the mosaic layout to set the channel's location.
Please follow the below steps for Layout Configuration.
Please refer to Layout Template to build a layout before setting the mosaic layout.
Add or edit a existing layout to the built template.
Assign the layout to an output. (Please refer to Layouts to configure the layout to the Output stream).
In the Layouts Configurtaion screen, there are two collapsable buttons at the right side, Sources, and List to collapse/uncollapse Sources, and Layouts respectively as highlighted below.
The Sources consists of the available Channels that are scanned in Sources Configuration and the list of Timezones configured. You can filter the channels by Label, URL, Service, Access Type, Monitoring Level, Device, Activation Group, Network, and Monitored/unMonitored.
Click on the add icon to a new Layout Configuration or select the default one in the Layouts list and click on edit.
You can drag and drop the sources that needs to be on output encoder into the mosaic as shown above.
The Layout Configuration has the following fields.

Label | Name of the Layout. |
Layout Type | Select the Layout Template (default or created). |
Background | Specifies the brackground colour of the tiles in RGBXXXXXX format, (RGB808080 has a grey background). **Version 1.1.1 onwards MCS allows images uploaded through MCM files to be choosen as background. **Version 1.1.2 onwards MCS allows color picker that can be choosed as background. |
UMD Display Mode | Select the UMD mode from the dropdown Scroll, Squeeze, or Crop. |
Tile Attributes : Each tile can have upto four UMD’s along with Tally source. ** In this example, only the first tile has been assigned with two UMDs, Tally Source and Border Tally. Based on the channel, you can choose your UMDs. For UMD and tally settings, please refer to the appendix Dynamic UMD updating. | |

Click on save once you have edited the Layout configuration. The layout is now available in the Layouts List (my_new_Layout) in the right side.
The Layout my_new_Layout can be assigned to an active encoder in the Layouts under Outputs Configurations as shown below.
