The first step is to use TAG's automatic scanner to discover available multicast streams in the network.

A.     Navigate to Sources > Scan.

Click the "+" icon in the upper right to open the "Add Scan Task" dialog and select the type of source format (MPEGTS/HLS/RTMP/Uncompressed.) In this example, we're using MPEGTS.

B.     Once you select the network, configure the "to" and "from" multicast IP addresses, and port information - Click "Generate".

C.     The System will generate a list of multicast sources.  Review the list, and confirm by selecting "Submit."

D.     The System will scan for channels and is ready for configuration once this process is complete.

E.     To add additional formats (MPEGTS/HLS/RTMP/Uncompressed), repeat steps C-F.

F.     You will find the newly scanned channels by navigating to Sources > Configuration. They will appear greyed out.

For your initial test, we recommend selecting no more than 10 channels.

G.    To select a channel or group of channels, use a single click (you can use shift or ctrl to select multiple items)

Click the (blue star) to add and save these channels to your permanent configuration.

We recommend activating a handful of channels for your initial test to monitor and view channels on the TAG multiviewer (<10.)

H.     To enable monitoring, you must double-click on the "x" s under the monitor column.

Note, it may take the System a few seconds, but once a channel is enabled, a "√" checkmark and a colored dot will appear under the "Monitor" and the "Device" columns, respectively, confirming your channels are monitored.
