Selecting the Output

First, select the output you want to control to start operating your video environment.

To select which monitor you want to control using the Operator Console, Click on Output Select in the main menu at the bottom of the screen and choose Output. The Output Select in the main menu on the bottom of the screen and choose the Output. Operator Console will immediately display the selected output layout on the screen and fill it with the tile images.

Selecting the Layouts

To change a layout used in the currently controlled output, click on the Layout Select and choose the Layout you want to use. List contains all the available layouts. In case the layouts do not fit into the screen, you can use the right and left arrows to scroll through the list.

Viewing Output Mosaic on the Operator Console

Once you choose the Layout, click on the video icon in the Output Configuration to select the encoder as shown below.

Alarms

Alarms can sometimes fill up a lot of space on the video tile. In case you want to hide them and focus on seeing more of the video itself, users can touch/click on the Show/Hide Alarm button in the main menu. Alarms will disappear or appear on the screen in a few seconds.

Show/Hide Alarms: This is same as enable/disable alarms specified in https://tag.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/UPGRADES/pages/622166021/Outputs+Config#Miscellaneous.

Tile specific operations in the Operator Panel

  • Change the Source on the Tile:
    To select which video source will be displayed in a tile, touch/click on a tile and choose the source from the list. You can use the search field to type a name of the source you want to use, and the list will update automatically as you start typing. 

    When the name of the source is touched/clicked this source will start being displayed in the tile on the actual output.

  • Selecting the Audio PID: An operator may decide that they want to listen to a specific audio of one of the videos currently playing on the output. To do so, select the tile you are interested in listening to and click on the audio icon and then choose the audio channel to listen to from the list. In case the list of audio channels does not fit into the menu, you can scroll it or start typing in the search box to filter the list. The first audio PID in the audio stream will automatically be mapped with proper audio from the source.

** Please note that when the audio PID is enabled for the monitored source, the monitored audio PID bar's color changes you selected for monitoring changes its color to blue on the tile display , as shown below..
