Overview

User Configuration is designed to manage user accounts and their associated roles within MCS. It provides functionality for viewing, adding, editing, and removing users.


Navigate to the User Configuration

  1. Log in to the MCS.

  2. Click on the menu icon.

    • A display of all the available widgets will open.

  3. Click on Management → Users Config.

    • User Configuration will open.


The Main Table

  • Description: The primary section, listing all user accounts and their roles.

  • Location: Positioned at the central section.

Contents

Columns

  1. Username: Displays the username of each account.

  2. Role: Displays the role assigned to the user.

Sort

  • Description: You can sort the display of the users in the main table in ascending or descending order based on the username.

  • How to Use: Click on the sort button near the Label field.


Buttons

Refresh

  • Description: Refreshes User Configuration.

Copy

  • Description: Duplicates the selected user account, allowing quick creation of similar users.

  • Location: Positioned at the top-right.

Delete

  • Description: Removes the selected user from the table.

Edit

  • Description: Opens the selected user account for editing its username, password, or role.

  • Note: You can also edit a user’s configuration by double-clicking on their row.

Add

Columns Display Menu (3 Lines Button)

  • Description: A dropdown menu to customize the table view by toggling the visibility of columns.

  • Functionality:

    • Allows toggling the visibility of columns.

    • Columns can be pinned, preventing them from being hidden.

Filter

  • Description: Allows users to search for specific usernames or roles in the table.
