Network → DNS Configuration


MCM9000 allows DNS configuration through the Network interface from version 6.0 onwards  


DNS servers allow the parsing of names from the URL into a valid IP. One can add their own DNS server here.

The below icons are present in the top right corner of the DNS Configuration GUI.

**Version 6.3.12 onwards of MCM9000 allows DNS Configuration for LDAP. To do so, provide the LDAP DNS IP in the IP Address field.

To add a new DNS server, click on the add icon. Fill in the Name and IP Address.

Click on submit to create the DNS server.


To edit the details of an existing DNS server, select the desired DNS server, and click on the edit icon.

Click on submit to save the edited DNS server's configuration.


To delete an existing DNS server, select the desired DNS server and click on the delete icon.

Click on remove to delete the DNS server configuration permanently.

To refresh the DNS Configuration GUI, click on the refresh icon.
