Sources Config

In this section, all the different types of sources that could be configured in MCS are described.

Navigate to Sources → Sources Config. The source configuration GUI has several options (highlighted in red) besides, add, copy, edit and delete the channels.

  • Columns display : Lists all the columns available in this page. You can hide/unhide as per your preference.

 

  • Rescan option : Allows re-scanning of the sources. This is usually used after the initial scan of the channel.

    • Add Profile : If there is a profile detected during re-scan, it adds to the source configuration.

    • Merge to Active Profile or Add New : If there is a profile detected during re-scan, it merges the active profile or adds a new profile to the source configuration.

    • Merge to Active Profile : If there is a profile detected during re-scan, it merges the active profile to the source configuration.

  • Start Monitoring (in Red) : Allows to start monitoring by selected Resource Groups or Devices.

  • Stop Monitoring (in green) : Stops monitoring
