MPEG-DASH is another streaming protocol similar to HLS; it breaks videos down into smaller chunks and encodes those chunks at different quality levelsRTMP is a TCP-based protocol designed to maintain low-latency connections for audio and video streaming. The fields below and some pre-defined configurations (for scanned sources) are available if you scan or manually add a MPEG-DASH source.MPEG-DASH sources have parent and child channels if there is more than one channel attached to the MPEG-DASH RTMP source.

Publish Point URL Variant Index | The URL of the parent Stream. (Relevant only for parent channel) Variant Index for child channel. |

Session Life Time | For automatic selection, it is unlimited. For manual configuration, click on the toggle button to specify the desired Session Life Time in minutes. |

DailNorm | Dialnorm is the metadata parameter that controls playback gain within the Dolby Laboratories Dolby Digital (AC-3) audio compression system. Dialnorm stands for dialog normalization. Dialnorm is an integer value with a range of 1 to 31 corresponding to a playback gain of -30 to 0 dB (unity), respectively. |
