In this section Devices and Devices Events are described.
This is the first essential step in configuring the MCS. In this section, you can add two or more MCM9000 devices per your needs. Please refer to Adding MCM9000 devices to MCS to add MCM9000 devices. After the devices are added, the devices are displayed under Device Management as shown below. If you click on the edit icon Device Information are displayed. This is same as the details of MCM9000 System Information.
In addition to the existing feature, MCS provides the Adhoc Monitoring through Resource Groups. Please refer to Adhoc monitoring workflow (Grouping) to configure monitoring through Resource Groups.
Device Information and Statistics
If you click on the three dots highlighted in red, you can see the Device Information and Statistics of the selected MCM9000 Device.
The Device Information page consists of,
Info - Provides the details about the Device name, Licenses, etc. The device info is same as the MCM9000 Device Information.
Hardware - Hardware information for physical and cloud devices can be found here. It is same as the MCM9000 Hardware Information.
Memory Utilization - Displays the allocated and used memory os the MCM9000 device.
CPU Utilization - Displays the CPU used, frequency and CPU temperature.
The Statistics provides a graphic representation of the current system load, CPU, and memory usage. Maximum 5 source channels or modules could be selected from the list on the right side of the GUI to the graphs simultaneously, as shown below. It is same as the MCM9000 Device Statistics.
The Version Control enables you to upgrade the MCM Software, Firmware, and License from MCS. Please refer Upgrade MCM via MCS version control to upgrade.
Devices Events
The Device Events are same as the MCM9000 System Log. In MCS, the system logs for all the MCM9000 devices configured are displayed. There is a free text filter option through which you can filter by Type, Source, Decsription, Device, and Severity.
