Configure Output Encoder

It's now time to select a layout to view your channels.

A.     From Output > Layout, click the "+" button.

Using the default "20 channels" layout is recommended. Leave the "User Name" blank.  Be sure to name (e.g. My New Mosaic) your newly created layout, then click "Submit."

B.     Below the "Layouts" on the right-hand side of the screen, single click to select your newly created Layout (e.g. My New Mosaic).

C.     Drag and drop the channels from the left to the desired location on the Mosaic. Do note that in order to test your System, you do not need to fill the entire Layout.

D.     At this stage, you must save your work before you leave this page, otherwise, your layout configuration will not be available.

The next step is to generate an encoder in order to view your newly created Mosaic.

E.     Go to Output > Configuration. Click the "+" button and go to the "stream configuration" tab.

TAG’s default output stream is already configured and ready to use.  If necessary, you may update the encoder configuration to fit your specific network.

F.     Go to the "Layout Selection" tab, double click the "x" to activate the Layout you've created, then click "Submit."

G.     Double-click to enable the encoder. It will take the System a few seconds to enable.

Settings in the MCM-9000 application are not automatically saved, therefore, you must save the entire TAG configuration.

H.     Click the "save configuration" button located on the left side of the screen, at the bottom of the main menu.

Alternatively, and for older software versions, go to System > System Information > Device Control.  Click the "save" button.
