Output → Layout Editor

The Layout Editor enables the creation of customized layout templates. Layouts use these templates for monitoring the desired Channel Sources.

The below icons are present on the top right corner of the Layouts GUI.

	To add a new layout type, click on the add icon. Specify the desired Name and choose the desired resolution from the dropdown list. Click on Submit, and a blank templated is created. To design the template, please refer to Layout Template Designs.
	The right side of the Layout Editor GUI shows the Layouts added. To copy an existing Layout Editor, select the desired Layout Editor and click on the Copy icon.
	To edit the details of an existing Layout Editor, select the desired Layout Editor and double-click or click on the edit icon. Click on submit to save the changes. *Please note that if the Output Layouts are already designed, only the name is editable. Else, both name and resolution are editable for a blank template where the Output Layouts are not designed.
	To delete an existing Layout Editor, select the Layout Editor and click on the delete icon. Click on remove to delete the Layout permanently.
	To refresh the Layout Editor GUI, click on the refresh icon.
	Click on Save Changes to save the Layout Editor.

From version 6.2 onwards MCM9000 allows downloading the existing and/or newly created Layout Types. Click on the download icon to download the Layout type as a .jpg file. This downloaded file can be used later on a different MCM9000 using the Upload Layout option or drag and drop into the tile editor.

MCM9000 allows uploading an existing tile. Click on the upload entry icon and choose the ingest file and click on upload.

The preconfigured and the newly added layout template are available on the right-side panel. To design a customized layout, please refer to Layout Template Designs. To use the preconfigured default Layout Editor templates, please refer to Mosaic Layouts.
