RTP
Real-Time Transfer Protocol (RTP) consists of Events and Thresholds associated with the RTP network protocol for delivering audio and video over IP networks.
ID | Name | Event Error | Description |
| UDP/RTP Protocol Mismatch - expected vs actual | UDP/RTP Protocol Mismatch | When scanning/adding a channel, the input for the transport protocol is set either as RTP or UDP, this event is triggered if the transport protocol is different from the configured. |
| Packet loss - detected by RTP sequence number on any source | RTP Packet loss | Packet loss is based on the RTP sequence counter. This event is triggered when there is a packet loss in any source. |
| Packet loss - detected by RTP sequence number on main source | RTP Packet loss (A) | This event is triggered when there is a packet loss in the main source. |
| Packet loss - detected by RTP sequence number on second source | RTP Packet loss (B) | This event is triggered when there is a packet loss in the secondary source. |
| Source is down (one or both of the 2022-7 sources are down – Video/Audio/Anc) | 2022-7 Link Down | This event is a combination of multiple events. It is triggered if the main or secondary content is down. |
| Main Video Flow, High inter-arrival time max value (IAT above threshold) | IAT-max (A) | IAT is the time measured between consecutive packets of the same flow. The time difference between each packet should be constant. If not, the IAT creates a burst on the network, causing the network overloading. If the time difference is greater than configured in the threshold, this event is triggered. |
| Second Video Flow, High inter-arrival time max value (IAT above threshold) | IAT-max (B) | IAT is the time measured between consecutive packets of the same flow. The time difference between each packet should be constant. If not, the IAT creates a burst on the network, causing the network line's overloading. If the time difference is greater than configured in the threshold, and there are multiple flows in this network line, this event is triggered. |
| Audio checksum error | Audio Checksum Error | The checksum error is for AES audio under 2022-6. This event is triggered if the checksum is wrong. |
| Video Flow RTP-PTP offset | Video RTP-PTP Offset | The difference between the PTP clock and the clock value on the RTP headers are measured. This event is triggered if the value is above the configured threshold. |
| Frame alignment to PTP | Misalignment to PTP | This event is valid for 2110-20 and 2022. |
| Wrong RTP 2110 Video Payload type | RTP Video Payload error | This event is triggered when the payload type in the RTP header differs from the expected value in the channel configuration. |
| Audio Flow RTP-PTP offset (2110-30/31) | Audio RTP-PTP Offset | Measuring the difference between the PTP clock and the clock value on the RTP headers should be completely aligned. If not, this event is triggered if the value is above the configured threshold. |
| Ancillary Flow RTP-PTP offset (2110-40) | ANC RTP-PTP Offset | Measuring the difference between the PTP clock and the clock value on the RTP headers should be completely aligned. If not, this event is triggered if the value is above the configured threshold. |
| Main Audio Flow, High inter-arrival time max value (IAT above threshold) | Audio IAT-max (A) | Triggers an event for a measured IAT value above the Max configured value. |
| Second Audio Flow, High inter-arrival time max value (IAT above threshold) | Audio IAT-max (B) | Triggers an event for a measured IAT value above the Max configured value. |
| Main Ancillary Flow, High inter-arrival time max value (IAT above threshold) | ANC IAT-max (A) | Triggers an event for a measured IAT value above the Max configured value. |
| Second Ancillary Flow, High inter-arrival time max value (IAT above threshold) | ANC IAT-max (B) | Triggers an event for a measured IAT value above the Max configured value. Triggers an event for a measured IAT value above the Max configured value. |
| Video Source is down (one or both of the 2022-7 sources are down) | Video Link Down | This event is valid only for sources over RTP. |
| Audio Source is down (one or both of the 2022-7 sources are down) | Audio Link Down | This event is valid only for 2110 sources over RTP. |
| Ancillary Source is down (one or both of the 2022-7 sources are down) | Ancillary Link Down | This event is valid only for 2110 sources over RTP. |
| Wrong RTP 2110 audio Payload type | RTP Audio Payload error | Triggered when the payload type in the RTP header differs from the expected value in the channel configuration. |
| Wrong RTP 2110 ancillary Payload type | RTP ANC Payload error | Triggered when the payload type in the RTP header differs from the expected value in the channel configuration. |
