NIT, AIT

Network Information Table (NIT) is a DVB table that contains information about the DVB network.

Application Information Table (AIT) is a DVB table that provides full information on the data broadcast, the required activation state of applications carried by it etc.

**From version 6.3 onwards, MCM9000 supports AIT table monitoring on the PIDs. The relevant event codes are (532 to 536).

103	CC Errors on NIT	CC Error on NIT	CC errors detected on the NIT PID.
174	Carrier ID Field Missing	Carrier ID Missing	No carrier ID field in NIT.
175	Carrier ID Repetition Rate	Carrier ID Rep Slow	Carrier ID repetition rate is too slow; the threshold is configurable.
176	Carrier ID Is Illegal	Carrier ID Illegal	Carrier ID field – parsing error.
177	Carrier ID mismatch (not as expected)	Carrier ID Changed	Detected Carrier ID content does not match the configured content. (satellite only)
**From version 6.3.1 onwards, AIT events are supported, as shown below.
532	AIT is illegal	AIT illegal	Illegal values or length on AIT.
533	AIT repetition too slow	AIT Repetition slow	AIT repetition rate is too slow.
534	Table ID error on AIT PID	AIT Table ID Error	The incorrect table ID value.
535	AIT Is Scrambled	Scramble Flag on AIT	Flag on AIT is scrambled.
536	AIT Missing	AIT missing	AIT is missing. #Version 6.3.10 onwards, time threshold can be configured for AIT missing.
