System → Users

There are three system user types with different privileges:

*Users*	*Description*
Administrator	Has access to perform all the actions.
Viewer	Has access to view operational sections but cannot perform any action; management pages are blocked.
Technician	Has no access to perform the following actions: change user settings, change device configuration, any type of reset (soft, reboot, shut down), switch software images, change reports settings.

The system is pre-configured with one user per Type: Admin, View, and Tech. Initial default passwords are identical to the usernames.

	To configure additional users, click on the add icon.
	To edit or change the configuration of the existing users, click on the edit icon.
	To delete a user permanently, click on the delete icon. Click on remove to delete the user permanently.
	To refresh the Users GUI, click on the refresh icon.

Configured users also serve for authentication when accessing the MCM-9000 with an external API. For more information, please refer Web API.
