SPTS

Display Name

A user-defined name for caption-display on the mosaic and system messages.

User Name/UUID

Unique username ID for the channel.

Access Type

Type of channel source (SPTS or MPTS).

Transport RTP / UDP Mode

The source's transport mode can be altered between RTP or UDP.

Enable Descrambling

When checked, it enables descrambling of the source.

Encryption Type

If the source type is encrypted, select the encryption type from the dropdown list. For more details, please refer to KMS Types.

**From 5.6.0 onwards CPIX KMS type is supported. 

**From 5.6.4 onwards BISS-2, SynMedia, and Axinom KMS types are supported. 

**From 5.6.6 onwards Static KMS type is supported. 

**From 5.7.1 onwards Kaltura UDRM KMS type is supported. 

**From 6.0 onwards Buy DRM KMS type is supported. 

IP Address

The IP address of the source.

Source Specific Multicast

Set IGMPv3 for SSM. Leave empty for ASM.

Port

Source port number.

Network

The NIC used to intercept the source.

Encryption Constant Key

The constant key to be used with BISS encryption.

Transport Stream ID

Specify the Transport Stream ID.

Program Number

Service ID, as defined in the PAT table.

Service Type

Service type settings (SD/HD/Radio, etc.); used for system resource allocation.

*Please note that altering this affects the resources used by the system and the quality of the monitoring.

Service type refers to the number of hardware resources that should be allocated for monitoring the channel.

Service type is usually measured by SD point (0.5,1,5,10,20...) depending upon the required hardware allocation which is usually detected during the scan.

Demux T2MI (PLP)

When enabled, enter the value of the PLP (0 to 255).

Secondary IP Address (2022-7)

2022-7 secondary IP address.

Secondary Source Specific Multicast (2022-7)

2022-7 secondary source multicast address.

Secondary Port (2022-7)

2022-7 secondary port address.

Secondary Network (2022-7)

2022-7 secondary network interface.

Tally Settings

Configure tally settings for the source.

Note

Transport Stream Bitrate

When enabled, specify the Transport Stream Bitrate (in Mbps). When disabled, the bitrate is ignored.

Standard Type

Select the desired standard. Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) or Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC).

Audio Loudness

Select the desired audio loudness measurement standard. EBU R 128 or ATSC A/85 (no gating).

SDT Name

Service Description Table (SDT) name. Leaving this field empty will disable the test.

Provider Name

SDT provider name; leaving this field empty will disable the test.

NIT Carrier ID Information

Network Interface Table (NIT) details are optional and relevant only for satellites.

Encoder Manufacturer

Name of the Encoder Manufacturer.

Encoder Serial Number

The electronic serial number of the Encoder.

Carrier Identifier

Name of the Carrier Company.

Telephone Number

Operator's telephone number (typically – operator's MCR/POC number, etc.).

Longitude

Longitude value.

Latitude

Latitude value.

User Information

Service information, other user fields, etc.

Hide Overscan

By default, overscan lines are hidden from the mosaic. Uncheck the checkbox for the full-frame display.

Ability to decode 2038. You can choose from the options, Merge, Prefer ST-2038, Ignore ST-2038.

Unconfigured PIDs Behaviour

Select the system response on detection of a PID which is not defined in the static channel configuration on the PMT:

• Monitor Undefined: The device will monitor all PIDs on the PMT without producing an "extra PID" message.
• Ignore Undefined: The device will ignore the existence of extra PIDs.
• Raise Error: An "extra PID" channel event error will be sent.

Monitoring Level

Select the Monitoring level (Full, Light, Extra Light).

Full Monitoring: One full license and the full amount of SD points will be consumed by the system, and full monitoring will be done.

Light Monitoring: One full license and a third of the SD points will be consumed, and the monitoring level will be for a third of the time.

Extra Light Monitoring: One full license and a fifth of the SD points will be consumed, and the monitoring level will be for a fifth of the time.

Profile Automation Mode

Automatically chooses the profile from Scheduler or PMT Auto-Matching when the toggle switch is enabled.

*Only one mode can be enabled at a time, or both are disabled.

Snooze Timeout on Profile Change

Set time slot after profile change (in seconds), where errors related to the change are ignored.

The Add Scanned icon is enabled only when the channels added through the automatic Scan are visible (grayed out) in the Profiles GUI. To add the scanned channel, click on Add Scanned icon.

To copy an existing Profile, click on the copy icon.

To delete an existing Profile, click on the delete icon.

Profile Name

Identification name for cross-system notifications; if the activated profile is not the default one, the profile's name will be displayed next to the channel's name on the mosaic.

Default

Set the profile as default. Only one profile can be set to default; setting a profile as default overrides previous settings.

Thresholds Set

Channel monitoring thresholds set. To reconfigure, please refer to Thresholds.

Notifications Set

Channel monitoring notifications set. To reconfigure, please refer to Notifications.

Service Bitrate

The total service bitrate of all PIDs, including the PMT itself.

Use the toggle switch to specify minimum and maximum values allowed or choose Auto for automatic selection. The values set are used for the service bitrate detection rules.

Pixelization Block Size

Select the pixelization masking level from the dropdown (mostly used to mask adult content over the mosaic channel).

Title Color

Select the font color of the channel box title in the mosaic.

Border Color

Select the border color of the channel box in the mosaic. Change of border color due to error notification will override this setting.

RST Running State

The RST allows accurate and rapid updating of the timing status of one or more events; this may be necessary when an event starts early or late due to scheduling changes. Select the desired RST Running State from the dropdown.

To add a new PID, click on the add icon. Click on Submit to save the PID configuration.

Click on the Type dropdown list to choose the desired PID or Component Types.

*The fields in the GUI are specific to the PID/Component type chosen. Please refer to Component Types for more details.

To delete an existing PID, click on the delete icon.

PID

PID number.

Transport Monitored

When checked, TS level is included despite PID being monitored or not.

Content Monitored

Whether the PID's content is monitored or not. When unchecked, all content-related rules will be disabled for the PID (e.g., audio silence, freeze frame, PES drop, etc.).

PID out of PMT

Whether the PID should be part of the PMT, this is used to configure the ECM/EMM PIDs as part of the service and monitor their existence and bitrate.

Scrambled

Desired scrambling state of the PID, check the box if the PID is scrambled.

PCR on PID

Specifies if the PCR is present on the PID.

Bitrate

Desired bitrate for the PID (either single CBR value or dual VBR value).

Use the toggle switch to specify the minimum, and maximum values allowed or choose 'I' to ignore selection.

Type

PID payload type. Based on the selection, additional configurable fields will be displayed.

Codec Type

Select the Codec type from the dropdown for video streaming.

For non-constant content, select Don't care.

Resolution

Specify the video resolution.

Format : [width]x[height][i/p]. For example, 720x576i, 1280x720p. Leaving this field empty will disable related error notifications.

Aspect Ratio

Select the aspect ratio for the video content from the dropdown.

For non-constant content, select Don't care.

Profile/Level

Select the profile level for the video content from the dropdown. Encoding profile and level, as reported from the stream.

Color Space

Select the color space for the video content from the dropdown.

Frame Rate

Specify the video frame rate (frames per second). Leaving this field empty will disable related error notifications.

Closed Captions

Select the closed caption type from the dropdown. Choose Hide if you don't want to show the CC.

Language

Specify the subtitles language (for display purposes only).

** The supported languages for teletext subtitle are Czech, English, Estonian, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Leetonia, Polish, Rumanian, Serbian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Russian.

Display

Select the Display from the dropdown list (Hide/show subtitles or position of the display).

Select the audio channels from the dropdown list.

Display

Position of the audio bars in the channel box.

Any: First available spot according to the layout.
Hide: Do not show audio bars.
Position X: Force position according to layout type.

Mapping

Specifies the ability to map channels between audio flows.

Language

Specify the Teletext language (for display purposes only).

Specify the video resolution.

Color Space

Select the color space for the video content from the dropdown.

The left navigation buttons enable viewing the previous month's calendar.

The right navigation buttons enable users to view the next month's calendar.

Click on the Add Event icon to add a new event to the calendar.

Click on the View all event magnifier to view all the active events; click the magnifier again to return to the default calendar view.
