Stream Configuration



The GUI of Stream Configuration from version 5.6.0 onwards has two tabs Main streams and Auxillary streams for stream configuration. It supports CDI, NDI and SRT configurations. 


                                       



The Stream Configuration has the below fields.


FieldsDescription

MPEG-TS has a Main and Backup stream configuration with the below fields. 

IP Address

MC (multicast)/UC (unicast) IP address of the mosaic stream.

Port

Port number of the mosaic stream.

TTL

Time to live settings for network multicast.

Network

Network interface ID.

Enabled

When checked, it enables the MPEG-TS stream.

Main Uncompressed has a Video and Audio stream configuration with the below fields. 

IP Address

MC (multicast)/UC (unicast) IP address of the mosaic stream.

Port

Port number of the mosaic stream.

TTL

Time to live settings for network multicast.

Network

Network interface ID.

Enabled

When checked, it enables the main Uncompressed stream.

Secondary Uncompressed is a backup of Main Uncompressed. 

IP Address

MC (multicast)/UC (unicast) IP address of the mosaic stream.

Port

Port number of the mosaic stream.

TTL

Time to live settings for network multicast.

Network

Network interface ID.

Enabled

When checked, it enables the Uncompressed secondary stream.

HLS Publish Point 

Url

Specify the HLS (FTP, S3 or http) publish point URL for the HLS output stream to be saved.

**Version 6.3.10 onwards the HLS publish point URL can be specified in 3 modes,

  1. “naming_by_id” is the same as not specifying anything and works as before (serial+encoder id).
     For example, ftp://user:password@10.0.0.111/mcm?naming_by_id

  2. ”naming_by_uuid” uses the encoder uuid (names are “enc_uuid....”).
     For example, ftp://user:password@10.0.0.111/mcm?naming_by_uuid

  3. ”naming=xxxx” is a custom name (the files/folders will be “enc_xxxx….”).
     For example, ftp://user:password@10.0.0.111/mcm?naming=testing

The above is also applicable for FTP/HTTP/S3.

Network

Network interface ID.

Enabled

When checked, it enables the HLS stream.

Zixi Publish Point 

*From version 5.6 onwards Zixi and SRT publish points are configured in this section.

Url

Specify the Zixi publish point URL: zixi://<zixi_IP>/<Stream_ID> (for example: zixi://108.129.11.46/streamtest.ts). Please note, if the Zixi sources are encrypted with passwords, the Zixi URL is of the format, zixi://<Password>@<zixi_IP>:<port>/<Stream_ID>

*From version 5.6 onwards SRT is supported and you can specify a valid SRT publish point: srt://<IP>:<port>/StreamName?mode=listener&maxconn=4&passphrase=secret 

Network

Network interface ID.

Enabled

When checked, it enables the Zixi stream.

CDI Publish Point

*Available from version 5.6 onwards

UrlSpecify the CDI publish point URL. 
NetworkNetwork interface ID.
EnabledWhen checked, it enables the CDI stream.

NDI Publish Point

*Available from version 5.6 onwards

UrlSpecify the NDI publish point URL. 
NetworkNetwork interface ID.
EnabledWhen checked, it enables the NDI stream.
