Version 6.0 onwards MCM9000 supports S3 and HTTP Storage Servers besides FTP Servers.
File Agents define the FTP server that can be used for recording alarmed sources during events and the duration of the recording (Please refer to Recording for more details). It has the below fields.
Fields | Description |
Name | Name of the File Agent. |
Target Type | Protocol Type from the dropdown. (FTP, S3, or HTTP) |
Target | Server name, as defined under Storage Servers Settings. |
Record Before Trigger | Time (in seconds) to start recording before the event. |
Record After Trigger | Time (in seconds) to stop after the event is inactive. |
Maximum File Size | Specifies the maximum file size (in MB) of the recorded video for a single event. In case the limit reaches the maximum file size ahead of Record Before Trigger definitions, the recording will stop before the error occurs. A Syslog event will be created in that case. |
Maximum Recording Time | The maximum duration of the recording. |
PID Filtering | Enabling PID Filtering, include only the channel which triggered the event in the recorded output. Else, all the MPTS will be recorded. Unfiltered recordings generate large files. |
Test | Click on the Test button to create a demo text file on the configured server. |
