How to Backup and Restore

MCS offers Backing up and restoring system configurations. Please follow the steps below to back up or restore the system configurations.

1. Navigate to Backup & Restore from the home page.

2. In the System Backup & Restore page click on the Backup icon to backup files.

3. The file backup appears on the System Backup & Restore page.

• To upload an existing configuration click on the Upload icon in the top left corner (highlighted in red).

• To download the backup configuration click on the Download button (highlighted in green).

• To restore the configuration click on the Restore button (highlighted in orange).

Backup and Restore can also be done through API 5.0 specified here: v5.0_Backup and Restore.

Note:

The system creates an automatic Backup everyday at 02:00 GMT.

All the backed up files are stored in /MCS/backup.

** MCS version 1.1.0 onwards data beyond 30 days will be deleted. Please ensure to back up your data before 30 days to avoid data loss.
