MCM9000 Backup and Recovery

The MCM9000 is designed to be fast with light memory requirements. The system is not storing any type of data, and therefore maximizing performance and minimizing latency.

In case of unexpected system failure or other force stop scenarios, its possible to backup and recover the system to the last saved configuration in a few ways:

On MCM9000:

  1. Backup the System configuration

    1. Save configuration
    2. Export the Configuration: System → Configuration File → Export
  • Backup process can be automated using the MCM9000 daily report agent setting.
  • The MCM9000 Support and can be fully controlled by API calls, to create a fully automated backup and recovery you can use API calls with AWS Lambda.

    2. Recover the System
    1. Import the Configuration file : System → Configuration File → Import
    2. Save configuration

  • In case of system or instance critical failure, you can duplicate the instance and deploy the backed-up configuration file into the system.

On AWS:
